Small business calling
We set up who receives each call, show staff how to transfer callers and agree what customers hear when you are closed.
Use a local number that stays with the company when staff or premises change.
Staff can answer their work line without being tied to an office handset.
Decide who rings first and where unanswered calls should go.
Pass customers to the right person while the call is live.
Add handsets for reception, workshops or anyone who prefers one.
Recording, reporting and more involved call flows can be added where needed.

Use these questions to compare the setup and total cost, as well as the headline line price.
List the people who need an extension and how many calls you expect at busy times. A published business number, a user extension and simultaneous call capacity are different things; explain your busiest period so we can size the system.
Five lines at £12.50 each cost £62.50 per month + VAT and include 500 UK minutes per line. Recording on all five adds £10, bringing the monthly line and recording cost to £72.50 + VAT. See how business call recording is priced and planned. Handsets, setup, porting and other usage are separate.
Apps and desk phones need an internet connection. Share how staff connect at the office and away from it, including Wi-Fi coverage. If the office connection fails, devices using it cannot make internet calls; discuss mobile-data options and fallback call routes during planning.
For a small team, agree who rings first, who covers missed calls and what happens after hours. Ask for the support arrangements, contract terms and any charges outside the included minutes with your quote.
